Our professional driver will be picking you up at the airport or your hotel to begin this amazing adventure. Let’s begins with a journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Let’s pay a visit to Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture. We affectionately refer to this town as the Switzerland of Morocco.

As we drive through the cedar forest of Azrou, home to Barbary Macaques, don’t miss the opportunity to hand feed the monkeys as they playfully tease you with their antics. We will have our lunch in a small Berber village before we continue our way through the Middle Atlas Mountains.

As we follow the Ziz River, panoramic photo opportunities abound in this picturesque locale. We then make our way to Todra Gorges where we revel in the splendor of the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Have your camera ready for this spectacular site. Our evening will conclude here at a beautiful hotel/riad.

TODRA GORGES • ERFOUD • RISSANI • MERZOUGA

After breakfast at your hotel/riad we leave the beautiful Todra Gorges to make our way to the largest Saharan oasis of Tafilalt. With palm groves stretching 30 miles, it is here that we find Erfoud where we visit the marine deposit of fossils. These fossils are unearthed and traded or fabricated into products such as jewelry.

We also pay a visit to Rissani and the largest Berber market of the region. All the locals from the surrounding areas come here to purchase their necessities. We then make our way to Merzouga where we will spend the night in a local hotel/riad.

MERZOUGA DESERT 4X4 EXCURSION • ALLURE OF THE DESERT CAMEL TREK

Today we will discover the unmatched landscape of Merzouga and the marvel that is the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Get ready for a thrilling adventure of these dunes by 4X4. This offroading trek offers you many incomparable views of these mysterious dunes as you witness the nomad’s way of life. We will visit the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnaoua music which is a mix of classical Islamic and African Traditional. We have a unique opportunity to visit Berber nomads as they offer us lunch in their desert camp. Enjoy this relaxing time as we prepare for an incredible afternoon.

You will enjoy the much anticipated camel trek into the pink sands of Morocco’s highest dunes. Savor your time wandering the dunes before the sun sets in a spectacular show of colors. A traditional Moroccan dinner is served, followed by a traditional music show of Berber instruments around a campfire. Bask in this desert night atmosphere as you take a look up at the sky. The Milky Way will be waiting for you in full glory. Count the shooting stars as you gaze in wonder before a peaceful night in a private nomadic tent. This truly is an oasis in the middle of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.

MERZOUGA • DADES GORGES • KALAAT M’GOUNA • SKOURA • OUARZAZATE

Be sure to wake up early this morning to watch what well may be the most striking sunrise of your life. Don’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of these breathtaking dunes of Erg Chebbi as the changing light of day plays upon the sand.

Next we drive to Dades Gorges passing numerous Berber villages. We will experience Dades Gorges with its multi-colored walls reaching from 200-500 meters high. Not to be missed is Kalaat M’Gouna which is widely known for its Festival des Roses. If you are lucky enough to be here in May, you may witness the grandeur of this festival. Don’t miss the chance to purchase the rosewater for which the city is named.

The Skoura Oasis, sprinkled with palm tree groves is among Morocco’s most beautiful. Photographic opportunities abound here. We spend this night in a hotel/riad in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, we begin our route through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Stops along the way are provided to enjoy the breathtaking, picturesque scenery.

Have your camera ready as the opportunities are endless. We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou. This famous kasbah is a striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco and was used as a backdrop for more than twenty films. Finally we end our day in Marrakech at your hotel/riad.

It is time to bid farewell as your adventure in the alluring country of Morocco has ended. We now transport you to the airport.
